Weekly reflection

Ramere 14 Mahuru

Morena koutou tenei ko toku wiki whakaata good morning everyone this is my weekly reflection.

What I liked this week was badminton.  Did you know that badminton is the fastest racket sport in the world. What I also liked was little house on the prairie it is a book for chapter chat.It is a classical and I am really enjoying it.

I think...That this week was pretty cool because we got to do fun activities to do with social justice week. This week is also national Maori week that is why my  title is in maori.I also think that my writing is going pretty good.I am writing a diary entry, it is about a girl called Cassidy Kilock on summer camp she isn't in the same cabin as her best friends Molly Jones and Lillie Grey instead she is with her frenemies.

I wonder if God really is Bald with a long white beard and a giant halo and a robe.

I learned how to gather data in statistics and how to make a stem and leaf graph.

Mihi koe mo panui toku wiki whakaata Thank you for reading my weekly reflection.

Weekly reflection

Friday 31 August

My favourite part of the week this week might be writting.Me and a boy named Harrison have been working on our writing together. We have been doing it on punishments in the 1950's and 60's and then now.In the 1950's and 60's they used weapons for punishments.

I also liked doing the Watties cans for good we finally finished on the total of 427 cans!We used the cans and made a picture of mary and some of the children stood around it.

The interesting part of the week this week was reading.I read a non-fiction book about bones.I learned that there are 2 types of classes in the animal kingdom. The class without bones are called vertebrates and the class without are called Invertebrates.

There was also Badminton which was fun.We played a game called biggest fan where you point at someone and say"I challenge you" and then you play paper scissors rock them and if you lose then they follow you and if you lose then you have to follow them round.

There was nothing that was boring this week because it was so fun.

Week 3 reflection

Friday 10 August 2018

The highlight of my week this week is probably my 'What came before?' report. It is about my Ferrymead visit. It is about what school was like and entertainment how and what mothers cooked and toys that the kids used to play with. Or maybe it was seeing all the wattie's cans out in the corridor.

The Batten team are working on something called Wattie's cans for good. So far we have 197 watties can. That was the highlight of my week.

Grace

Friday 10 August 2018

This is a slide that I have been working on for the past week. It's all about grace and the symbols and sacraments that God gave us. Grace is something we haven't earned or don't deserve. It's God's love in disguise. You can't see it but you can feel it.

My ferrymead visit

Good morning. On Tuesday I went to Ferrymead.

What I enjoyed was ether going to the jailhouse or toys and games.I enjoyed the jail house because there were prisoners talking and one of them said this"All I want is a sausage and some whisky that's all I want".But I enjoyed toys and games I got to try some stilts and I saw what kids used to use like our chromebook slides. You put your eyes where the slot for your eyes and pull down a lever and it would show a slide. You would have to read the text. There were so many toy and games but it was amazing.
